Hi all! People help! I bought a G50-30 laptop. I googled all the settings and tried everything in the BIOS. The Windows installation window pops up (where the language and time are) and neither the keyboard nor the mouse works. I can't do anything at all. I've already tried changing the setting in the BIOS - no results. I thought maybe the Windows was broken. I downloaded it from the Microsoft website - the problem remained. I install Windows from a flash drive))

Solution

All Russian-language forums suggest installing drivers from the Lenovo website. This temporarily fixes the problem, but does not completely solve it. Firstly, older drivers may contain bugs. Secondly, the latest versions of Windows update drivers themselves. Thus, the problem will come out again and again.

The solution was found on the English-language Lenovo forum:

1. Open the registry editor as administrator (type regedit in start)
2. Looking for a thread there
3. There are usually several sub-branches with names 0000, 0001, etc. FeatureTestControl parameter in each of them from what is indicated there at f048
4. Reboot

How to increase screen brightness on a laptop

There are several ways you can change your display settings. Let's look at each of them.

Using Function Keys

The fastest way to configure is to press a specially defined key combination (sometimes just one key for increasing and another for decreasing). Depending on the brand and model of the laptop, the functional buttons to which the brightness settings are assigned may differ. For example, on some Lenovo laptops the F11 and F12 buttons control the display lighting intensity. On most Acer models, the brightness increases by simultaneously pressing Fn + right arrow , and decreases using Fn + left arrow .

You can determine how to turn down the brightness on a laptop using the function buttons experimentally or by reading the instructions. Typically, such keys have special icons in the form of a sun with a plus or minus sign.

I encountered a problem on my Lenovo Z500 laptop. After updating, Windows 10 began to increase the brightness of the screen using the keyboard shortcut (Fn+F12), after which the monitor screen went dark and began to flicker.

The reason turned out to be the drivers.

1. First, you need to install the original drivers for the display and video card from the official Lenovo website.

2. Next, right-click on the “ Start ” button and select “ Device Manager ”

4. In properties go to the “ Drivers ”

Please tell me how to solve the problem with screen brightness. The fact is that on the Lenovo Z500 IdeaPad laptop I switched to Windows 10, after which after some time the screen brightness disappeared, and there is no way to increase it any more. I tried a lot, I suspect that I need to install new drivers, but the fact is that there are no drivers for Win 10 on the official Lenovo website for this model. Rolling back to an earlier version of Windows is not considered an option. Perhaps as the most critical one.

Instructions for disassembling a Lenovo nettop using the example of the Lenovo IdeaCentre Q190 model. Three simple steps.

Turn the device upside down. The “belly” of the nettop has four rubber feet in the corners. Unlike many models of similar devices, the legs are not glued, but inserted like plugs.

They are quite easy to get out by hand. This does not require a special tool.

After taking out the legs, unscrew the screws under them.

Next, with your fingers, or, for example, with an unnecessary plastic card, we pick up the lower part of the nettop and remove it. Be careful - the bottom half of the nettop case is removed along with the cover that covers the connectors on the front panel of the device.
