As in the regular version of the K 5, here the main part is made of aluminum, but there are two plastic inserts on the top and bottom. The gadget fits well in the hand, but due to the metal back cover, it tends to jump out of the hand.

You need to immediately understand that Lenovo K5 plus is not a flagship, because its price is on average 14 thousand rubles. It has strengths, such as the screen, Dolby technology and filling, and disadvantages in the form of a unique call menu and small fonts.

The device turned out to be very interesting and definitely worth the money.

If you are afraid to take Meizu and Xiaomi, but would like to buy yourself a mid-price smartphone from a company with a reputation, then it is definitely worth considering the K5 plus.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus

At the last MWC exhibition, Lenovo's stand was not replete with a variety of new products and high-profile premieres. Only two models from the budget segment were presented: Vibe K5 and K5 Plus. At first glance, there is nothing remarkable, the new products do not stand out - they are ordinary middle peasants of the market.

But maybe not everything is so simple and we have a future hit in our hands that will blow up the market? Let's take a closer look at the older model Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus .

Design

The appearance is not original, but it cannot be called bad either. Pleasant, classic, understandable to everyone, this is how you can briefly describe the design of the K5 Plus. The materials look high quality and solid, good assembly. In addition to plastic, the design includes everyone’s favorite and desired aluminum.

Display

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus was equipped with an excellent IPS screen with FullHD resolution, although it’s probably difficult to remember when Lenovo installed a bad matrix on its devices. Colors are vibrant, images are clear, and viewing angles are impressive. As a result, we can say that the display is good, there is nothing to complain about.

Iron

The computing power is provided by the productive and relatively fresh eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616. Lenovo engineers were also generous with 2Gb of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. If this is not enough, a microSD card can help. This set is more than enough for normal work and not the most demanding games. The battery cannot be said to be small, but it is difficult to call it large either. We have 2,750 mAh at our disposal, but the good news is that it is removable, and you can always carry a couple of spare batteries with you.

OS

The device is controlled by Android 5.1 in tandem with a proprietary shell from Lenovo. If you don’t like it, disable it in the engineering menu and forget it.

Multimedia

The smartphone has a good 13mpx camera. It has fast autofocus and takes decent pictures in good light. The front camera at 5mpx did not raise any special questions either. Among the features, we can note support for Dolby Atmos multi-channel sound technology, which is not even available in the Samsung Galaxy S7! I was especially pleased with the presence of two microphones with noise reduction function.

Now about the main thing. How much do you think Lenovo wants for it? Figures around $200 or $220 come to mind. But no, generous Chinese marketers announced a price of $149! Yes, you heard right. Only 11,500 rubles and all the delights of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus are in your pocket. It looks like the killer of all life in the middle market - Xiaomi Redmi 3 - has a real competitor.

If the Vibe K5 Plus is not marked by any serious improvements in the near future and receives good reviews from the first wave of buyers, then the success of this model on the Russian market will be impressive.
