Even though modern smartphones have become an integral part of many people's lives, tablets are still popular. Especially those with good screen resolution. For example, Lenovo A7600. 10.1 inches allow you to watch movies and videos, surf the Internet and communicate on social networks without straining your eyesight. But that's not all that distinguishes the tablet.
Appearance
In its price category (8-11 thousand rubles), Lenovo A7600 stands out for its design. Firstly, its back panel is rubberized. And this allows you to comfortably hold the device in your hands, without fear that it will slip out if you move it carelessly. It is noteworthy that the back panel is actually rubberized, so many owners think that the tablet is very pleasant to the touch. And there are almost no traces left on it.
Secondly, the tablet itself is made of high-quality plastic that does not creak or play. This creates the feeling of a monolithic product in your hands, since the top glass (without an oleophobic coating, unfortunately) smoothly “spreads” over the device. There are no gaps between the screen and the side edges.
Thirdly, the tablet is landscaped. For a 10.1-inch diagonal, this is the most optimal and convenient option. Two cameras (external and front) are adjusted specifically for landscape screen orientation. Which also adds convenience when using the device.

Cameras: external and front
If you choose a tablet based on parameters, then the quality of shooting should definitely not come first. If only because this is not what the devices were originally designed for. The front camera of the Lenovo A7600 is presented with a resolution of 2 megapixels. Not the best, but for a tablet this is quite enough to allow video calls. The external camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels, which is also enough to take good photos in good lighting. The tablet does not have autofocus, but this is not the main thing in devices of this kind.
Screen
Perhaps this is the main advantage, despite the small resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Viewing angles and brightness make the Lenovo A7600 tablet really cool even with such a screen. Firstly, even when installed on a book case, the device does not lose its clarity. Everything is visible exactly the same as in direct viewing. Secondly, in bright sunlight the screen brightness is not lost, like many models in this price category. Everything is clearly visible, which is very important in the summer.
Interfaces
There aren't that many of them. It is important to familiarize yourself with them for those who are choosing a tablet based on its parameters. So, for example, there is a microUSB connector, which is also a USB host. What does it mean? This means that the tablet supports additional accessories. For example, a removable flash drive with a microUSB connector. Or any other device through a special adapter. There is also a standard 3.5 mm headphone output. But the video output is not provided by the manufacturer, so connecting the tablet to the TV will no longer be possible. There is a slot for a microSD memory card, which allows you to increase the internal memory up to 32 GB. Unfortunately, larger volumes are not supported. The internal memory is 16 GB, of which only 14 GB is available.

Speakers and sound
There are two speakers on the front side of the tablet, which provides sound to the user, and not from him. But during use, many owners noted that one of the speakers periodically ends up covered with their fingers, which worsens the sound. The latter, by the way, is not very good: there is not enough bass. That's why some tracks don't sound very interesting. And in some places it’s even flat and dull. But good headphones can correct the situation, as long as they have bass and the ability to control the equalizer. In this case, even game explosions and pops will seem deafening and realistic.
operating system
The manufacturer installed Android 4.2 OS on the tablet. For 2015, this is a rather outdated system, although stable. If desired, the user can independently update the device to a more modern version or flash it. The firmware can be found on the manufacturer's official website. Programs for the tablet will have to be installed from the Play Market, although some are already pre-installed. For example, Skype or Kingston Office. You don’t have to download them anymore, you can safely use them. Some tablet programs may slow down slightly if you do not update the operating system to a more recent version. This should be taken into account in advance, even before installation. It is recommended to update the system immediately after purchase, so that using the tablet brings only pleasure.

CPU
It determines how well the device will run games and programs and how stable it will work. And here, it should be noted, everything is not so bad for a budget model. Mediatek MT8121 with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz - although standard for many, it is very good. Firstly, all games (even WoT) run without lags or stutters. Secondly, when playing videos both online and offline, no noticeable disadvantages are noted. Everything works clearly and smoothly. And yet, among budget models, the tablet is slightly inferior to those with a more advanced processor (for example, Qualcomm). On the other hand, the price for devices with such color rendering and screen will be different. Here Lenovo A7600 outperforms its competitors.
Owners' opinions
The budget ten-inch Lenovo A7600 tablet, reviews of which are mostly positive, is popular. And this is due to the fact that its price is relatively low. And, according to reviews, the tablet can handle both heavy toys and good programs. Not to mention that it is convenient to watch movies and surf the Internet. Vision does not suffer, everything is comfortable to watch. The only thing that confuses users a little is accidentally scrolling instead of tapping on the screen. The sensitivity of the display is so strong that gestures are recognized a little distorted.
Another thing that owners aren't too happy with is the battery. Despite the fact that its capacity is 6340 mAh, it is still not enough. The IPS matrix asks too much for itself. Especially if you set all settings to maximum. On average, the tablet can work for about six hours, and in standby mode up to fifty hours.
The camera on tablets is generally not considered as a key aspect, since in most models it remains not the best. Both frontal and main (external). The Lenovo A7600, whose price is relatively low, deserves the attention of those who are looking for a decent and inexpensive large model for gaming, watching social networks and movies, and communicating.
Battery
The battery capacity is 3000 mAh. The battery so far leaves a mixed impression.
Thanks to the stripped-down processor and low screen resolution, the device shows fairly good battery life.
I was able to watch YouTube videos in good quality for about 6 hours. Let me remind you that I bought a Lenovo A7600 for only 6,000 rubles; many models at that price cannot boast of the same battery.
There are only questions about the standby mode. Overnight the phone consumed more than 10% of its charge, which is quite a lot. Otherwise, the autonomy of the smartphone is at a high level. On one charge it lasts for about 2 days (Internet, calls, about an hour of music a day).
3G version
The version described above only supported the Wi-Fi communication standard. And this creates certain difficulties when using the device where there is no free wireless Internet. It is noteworthy that there is also a version with 3G. The manufacturers took care of this. The Lenovo A7600 N tablet has a slot for a SIM card. Standard size, no need to cut anything. The stability of the signal depends on which operator is used, since the coverage area is different for everyone. And the quality of communication too. In general, the 3G model is no different from the previous version, the “filling” remains exactly the same, but the price is slightly higher: mobility requires investment. Therefore, the version with a SIM card slot was three thousand rubles more expensive than the similar one with only wireless Internet (Wi-Fi).
Appearance, equipment, assembly.
The Lenovo S8 a7600 smartphone is shipped from the company's factory in a standard gray cardboard box. On one side there is the Lenovo logo, on the other there is a barcode and hieroglyphs.
The basic package includes:
- Smartphone.
- Charger.
- Special USB adapter.
- Setup instructions.
The appearance of the device is quite interesting. The front side when the display is turned off is one solid black shiny rectangle, at the very bottom of which only three touch keys are visible. At the top you can see the speaker, as well as the front camera. The back case is decorated with Lenovo logos. Solid body, black. There is a recess for the camera and speaker.
The side panels have a silver (metallic) color and, like the body, are made of durable plastic. All keys (volume control, lock) are located on the right, slightly above the middle. The connector for the charger or cable is located at the bottom. Screen 5 inches (5″). Overall phone size: 152.6 mm – height, 76.2 mm – width, 7.99 mm – thickness. These dimensions are optimal for a smartphone in this price and quality category: thin but wide.
